St. Vincent-St. Mary High School
At St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, marketing efforts focus on student success, alumni engagement, and community outreach. Through strategic planning, content creation, and collaboration across departments, the school maintains clear and compelling communication that reflects its values.
Social media plays a key role in outreach. Content is created for Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook, ensuring a consistent message. To keep everything organized, a structured content calendar—developed in Google Sheets—streamlines scheduling. Posts are scheduled through Buffer and Meta for Business, while advertisements highlight student achievements, alumni milestones, and events for prospective families.
One major branding project was the 39th Showcase: High Atop a Hill in Akron. This included a custom logo, print and digital invitations, and a social media campaign to promote the event. Additionally, promotional materials support open houses, placement tests, and shadow days. Invitations for alumni gatherings, such as Irish on Tour in New York and Naples, strengthen alumni connections.
Collaboration with school leadership and faculty ensures a unified marketing approach. Working with the President, Principal, athletic department, enrollment, and advancement teams, marketing efforts align with school-wide goals. Email outreach through Constant Contact and updates to the weekly newsletter keep families and staff informed.
A major initiative involved designing signage that connects Marianist values to STEAM education. The CREED framework—Collaboration, Responsibility, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Empowerment, and Discipleship—reinforces the school’s mission. Additionally, Design Thinking Posters were created for nine academic departments. These visuals break down the five-step problem-solving process: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. This project contributed to the school’s successful re-designation as Ohio’s only STEM-designated Catholic high school.
All projects follow the school’s brand guidelines. Marketing materials are designed using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom Classic, and Canva. Through strategic marketing and thoughtful design, St. Vincent-St. Mary maintains a strong presence while fostering meaningful connections with students, families, and alumni.
